How long does the route take?
The walk, which follows a clockwise route, takes about an hour and a half to two hours. Along the way, you will find information boards describing the park’s flora and fauna.
What is the best time of year to visit the park?
Every season has its own unique charm, but if you want to see the flowers in bloom and spot baby animals, spring and summer are the ideal times to visit.
What is the best clothing to wear when visiting the park?
Clothing varies depending on the season. In general, wear comfortable clothes that are suitable for the weather. It is essential to choose sturdy, comfortable footwear, such as hiking or trekking boots, suitable for all seasons.
What animal species can you see in the park?
During your visit, you will be able to see a wide variety of animals, including:
• Chamois, ibex, hedgehogs, marmots, roe deer, red deer, wild boar, hares, foxes, squirrels, badgers and wolves
• Two charming little lakes with fish (trout) and amphibians (frogs and toads)
• Five species of birds of prey: the snowy owl, the tawny owl, the barn owl, the eagle owl and the golden eagle
Is the tour self-guided or guided?
There is no admission charge: at the entrance, you will be given a map of the park, and our staff will be on hand to answer any questions or offer assistance.

For groups of more than 20 people, however, a guided tour is available (advance booking is recommended).
Is the route suitable for all ages?
Yes, although the route isn’t entirely flat, the walk is suitable for all ages, offering an enjoyable experience for everyone.
What do we offer schools visiting the park?
We offer guided educational tours of a natural area covering approximately 60,000 square metres, which are ideal for learning about the local flora and fauna in an engaging and educational way.
At what altitude is the park located?
The park is situated in the heart of the village of Introd, at an altitude of around 900 metres above sea level.
What other activities are there to do in Introd?
The village of Introd offers two unmissable attractions:
1. Introd Castle
2. Maison Bruil, an old farmhouse that tells the story of the local area and its traditions.
3. Furthermore, in Les Combes – famous for having been the summer residence of Pope John Paul II – there is a museum that traces the history of the papacy and houses various personal items that belonged to the Holy Father.
